Summer Essentials Giveaway (CAN 09/03)

I can’t believe that we are more than half way through summer already. It’s been an amazing summer though. Last year it was cold and rainy and so short. This year we’ve had some really nice weather and although the rain was late getting here it did eventually come.

We made the most of our summer spending time camping, fishing, bike riding, building sand castles on the beach and I even had the opportunity to try out zip lining!

For us summer and spontaneous go hand in hand. We might wake up one morning and decide to go berry picking as a family or come home one lovely summer evening and decide it’s a great time for a drink on a patio.

No matter what summer adventure I take on I like to feel prepared. Yes I know that prepared doesn’t really jive with spontaneous but sometimes it’s just the small things that make me feel comfortable and confident. Little things like putting on deodorant before hanging upside down on a zipline, or having smooth legs before I jump in my bathing suit and hit the beach can go a long way towards enjoying what I’m doing.

  12. My trick for feeling great (that I don't do often enough) is to get outside and get moving first thing in the morning (after coffee, of course!).
